Nuiqsut Trapper posted their closest win since October 26, 2024 on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Kali Wolverines 2-1. For the Trappers, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Wolverines walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Nuiqsut Trapper who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-27, 19-25, 15-12.

The victory snapped Nuiqsut Trapper's losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 2-3 record. As for Kali, they now also have a losing record of 2-3.

Nuiqsut Trapper will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wolverines: the pair will be back at it again later today.
