Fremont came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Northridge Knights. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-2 victory on September 10th.

Fremont had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 28-26, 25-22, 25-22.

Brooklyn Smedley was the offensive standout of the match as she had 16 assists and 11 digs.

Fremont was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 20 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Fremont's record is now 18-1. As for Northridge, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 14-10.

Coming up, Fremont will take on Bear River in a tournament on Friday. Northridge has already played their next matchup (against West Field), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
