Grant fell victim to Chavez and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 21-0 walloping at the hands of the Chavez Eagles. Grant has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
For Chavez's part, Kailey Duran was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (she also only allowed one walk). Grant will head out on the road to square off against Monroe at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Monroe hasn't scored more than two runs for four games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse. As for Chavez, they will face off against Chatsworth at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
