Flag Football Recap: Mary Persons' Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak at Home

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mary Persons). They were the clear victors by a 24-0 margin over the Rutland Hurricanes on Monday. The Bulldogs not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since November 18, 2024 (when they won 55-0).

Mary Persons' victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Rutland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9.

Coincidentally, Mary Persons and Rutland will both be playing Morrow the next time they take the field. The Hurricanes will head out to face the Mustangs at 6:15 p.m. on Monday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
