Basketball Recap: Homestead Takes a Loss

Homestead suffered their closest loss since December 16, 2023 on Friday. They fell just short of the Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes by a score of 59-56. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Dukes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-51 back in January.

Homestead's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Whitefish Bay, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-2.

Homestead and Whitefish Bay should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. Homestead (ranked 34th) will meet Grafton (ranked 159th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Homestead will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. Meanwhile, Whitefish Bay will square off against Nicolet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 327 places (15 vs. 342). Homestead is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
