Volleyball Recap: Brynn Ressler Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Air Academy

Cheyenne Mountain extended their home winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Kaisa Dowd. The Red-Tailed Hawks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Air Academy Kadets on Thursday for which the team can thank Dowd, who had six kills, five digs, and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last six games she's played.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-17, 25-10.

Cheyenne Mountain's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brynn Ressler, who had eight digs and two aces. That's the most aces Ressler has posted since September 2nd.

They weren't the only good servers: Cheyenne Mountain was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. They are 5-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Cheyenne Mountain now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Air Academy, with the defeat, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 5-2.
