Volleyball Recap: Yuba City Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Yuba City came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Nevada Union Miners. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Honkers of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Yuba City was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-12, 25-20.

Madison Jackson paced Yuba City's offense, picking up nine kills. Jackson got some help from Athziri Romero and her 11 assists. Allie Campbell controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Yuba City's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Nevada Union, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-14.

Yuba City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Roseville on the 2nd. As for Nevada Union, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against River Valley on the 2nd.
