Softball Recap: Valley Vikings vs. Highlands Golden Rams

Valley extended their losing streak to 11 on Tuesday, dropping them down to 1-12. They lost 12-2 to the Highlands Golden Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-6 last Friday.

As for Highlands, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-10. Considering their hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

For Highlands' part, Alexis Arms made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Arms was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2025.
