Basketball Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss

Liberty lost against James Wood back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Liberty Eagles took a 59-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the James Wood Colonels. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for James Wood, they pushed their record up to 9-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Liberty will face off against Millbrook at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for James Wood, they will square off against Handley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Handley will roll in looking for their 17th straight win, something James Wood surely won't give up without a fight.
