Baseball Recap: Shawnee Mission North Comes Up Short

If Shawnee Mission North was riding high fresh off their 12-5 takedown of Olathe Northwest last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bison fell just short of the Lawrence Free State Firebirds by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bison have suffered since April 25, 2024.

Shawnee Mission North's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Lawrence Free State, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.
