Football Recap: Boone Comes Up Short

If Boone was feeling good fresh off their 48-7 takedown of Perry last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Toreadors lost 28-6 to the Gilbert Tigers on Friday. The Toreadors have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Boone now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Gilbert, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Boone will host Iowa Falls-Alden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gilbert, they will venture away from home to take on Webster City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
