Softball Recap: Valencia Takes a Loss

Valencia lost against St. Pius X back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Jaguars came up short against the Sartans, falling 19-9.

Rosalyn Rael was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Cambria Garley, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Valencia has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for St. Pius X, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-12.

Coincidentally, Valencia and St. Pius X will both be playing Highland the next time they take the field. The Jaguars will host the Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Sartans will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
