If Harmon was feeling good fresh off their 11-1 takedown of Schlagle last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hawks fell just short of the Highland Park Scots by a score of 14-13 on Tuesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (11), the Hawks still had to take the loss.

Chad Taylor put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Taylor was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 1 stolen bases per game.

In other batting news, Harmon got a massive performance out of Jesus Portillo Carrillo, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs. Portillo Carrillo has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Ramiro Perez also deserves some recognition as he hit his first doubles of the season.

Harmon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Highland Park, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-10-1.
