Warner entered their tilt with Julian on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Julian Eagles a 2-0 shutout. The two-point effort marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Warner has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 17.0 points per game. As for Julian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Warner wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 57-21 defeat against Holtville on the 14th. As for Julian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 45-44 loss against Chula Vista Learning Community Charter on the 14th.
