Meanwhile, Burns unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against East Gaston, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since October 22, 2024.
While Burns was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into East Gaston's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-3, 25-17, 25-20.
Lincolnton's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Burns, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-4.
