Basketball Recap: Durant Takes a Loss

Durant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 45-42 heartbreaker at the hands of the Tipton Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Wildcats have suffered since December 20, 2024.

Durant's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Tipton, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

When Durant and Tipton next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Durant will face off against Calamus-Wheatland and their three-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Tipton will try to stop Mid-Prairie's five-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
