Basketball Recap: Holmdel Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After flying high against Holy Spirit last Monday, Holmdel came back down to earth. The Holmdel Hornets came up short against the Lenape Indians on Friday, falling 63-42.

Holmdel's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2. As for Lenape, the win also got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holmdel will venture away from home to face off against Donovan Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. One thing working in Donovan Catholic's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups. Lenape will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Robbinsville at 1:30 p.m. on Monday.
