Tupelo is a perfect 4-0 against Starkville since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Starkville's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They came up short against Choctaw Central, falling 16-6.

Tupelo's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Starkville, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Tupelo took their victory against Starkville when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 14-4. Will Tupelo repeat their success, or does Starkville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
