Baseball Recap: Erie Takes a Loss

Erie was the 16-15 winner over Marmaton Valley when they last played one another on Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Devils fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 4-3 on Friday.

Erie's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Marmaton Valley, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Erie will welcome Caney Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Marmaton Valley, they will square off against Oswego at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
