Basketball Recap: Conway Takes a Loss

Conway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 53-20 loss at the hands of the Fordland Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 40-18 last Thursday.

Conway's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Fordland, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Conway will square off against Climax Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Conway is facing Climax Springs at the right time seeing as Climax Springs is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Fordland, they will take on Gainesville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fordland has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
