Volleyball Recap: Norfolk's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Norfolk waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lincoln High Links. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Leading Norfolk to victory were Georgia Kluver and Audrey Galyen. Kluver had 12 digs and one assist, while Galyen had 12 assists and five digs. Galyen has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last 13 times she's played.

Norfolk's win bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Lincoln High, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-22.

Coincidentally, Norfolk and Lincoln High will both be playing Papillion-LaVista the next time they take the court. The Links will head out to face the Monarchs at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
