Volleyball Recap: Ayala's Run of Four Straight Victories Now Over

After flying high against Duarte on Thursday, Ayala came back down to earth. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Orange Panthers on Saturday. The match marked the first time this year in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.

The defeat snapped Ayala's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-7 record. As for Orange, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-19.

Looking ahead, Ayala will be playing in front of their home fans against Chino at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Orange, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Santiago on the 19th.
