Basketball Recap: Norland Comes Up Short

Norland was the 45-30 winner over Cardinal Gibbons when they last played one another back in December of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Norland Vikings were dealt a 62-31 loss at the hands of the Cardinal Gibbons Chiefs on Saturday. The Vikings' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Norland's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Cardinal Gibbons, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norland will square off against Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Norland surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cardinal Gibbons, they will face off against American Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
