Basketball Recap: Community Baptist's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Community Baptist walked away with it. They took down the Faith Christian Academy Knights 53-37 on Saturday. 53 seems to be a good number for the Conqueror as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Faith Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cory Royston, who posted 12 points and six boards. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in November of 2024. Tiylur Friday was another key player, putting up six points and eight boards.

The victory (which was Community Baptist's fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-14. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points over those games. As for Faith Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-18.

As of now, neither Community Baptist nor Faith Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
