Baseball Recap: Fort Plain Hilltoppers vs. Schoharie Storm

Fort Plain had lost 11 straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 4-10 to make it 12. They came up short against the Schoharie Storm, falling 8-1. The Hilltoppers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Storm from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

As for Schoharie, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-6. The result was nothing new for the Storm, who have now won five contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

As for Schoharie, they will head out on the road to face off against Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
