Soccer Recap: Martin Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Martin was not quite Mission Veterans Memorial's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 1-0. Martin were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Mission Veterans Memorial apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2025.

Martin has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Mission Veterans Memorial, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2-2.
