Basketball Recap: Zoey Hall's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Hoover over Oak Hill

On Friday, the Hoover Huskies came up short against the Oak Hill Red Devils and fell 55-44.

Hoover lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Zoey Hall, who posted 11 points. Ayva Veltri was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Hoover's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-9. As for Oak Hill, they moved to 5-8 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Hoover will welcome Wayne at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Wayne is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.9 points per game this season. Oak Hill has already played their next matchup (against Bridgeport), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
