Volleyball Recap: Calhan's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Calhan not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 2nd (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Ellicott Thunderhawks 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Calhan was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-15, 25-11.

Calhan's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-8. As for Ellicott, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Looking ahead, Calhan will face off against Peyton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ellicott, they will take on Banning Lewis Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Thunderhawks' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
