 The Murray Tigers will challenge the Hopkins County Central Storm at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in Murray's favor is that they have posted at least 31  points  every time they've taken the field this season.
Murray hadn't beaten Union County on the road since September 13, 2019 but that history sure didn't bother them  on Friday. The Tigers claimed a resounding  44-7 victory over the Braves. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won five games by 20  points or more  so far this season.
Murray's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Wyatt Robbins led the charge by throwing for 184 yards and one  TD while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also rushing for 42 yards and one  touchdown. That  rushing touchdown marked the first that  Robbins has  punched in this season. Murray's leading receiver  Isaiah Martin was  Robbins' top target yet again, picking up 64 receiving yards, while also punching in one  score on the ground.
 Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Murray proved: they limited Union County to a paltry 2.7 yards per carry. The Tigers didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 8.6.
Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Hopkins County Central). They blew past Webster County, posting  a  38-0 win. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Storm as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
 Murray better keep an eye on  Sylas Gunn. He was instrumental in Hopkins County Central's win, throwing for 156 yards and three  TDs on only nine passes, while also rushing for 69 yards.
