South Dade extends home losing streak to seven

The South Dade Buccaneers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Ferguson by a score of 46-44. South Dade has struggled against Ferguson recently, as their match on Wednesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, South Dade saw an underclassman step up: Genesis Aguilar scored 24 points. Ann Oves was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
South Dade bumped their record down to 1-5 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Ferguson, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
South Dade won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Coral Reef at 5:30 p.m. on December 14th. Ferguson is on the road again on Monday and play against Sunset at 5:00 p.m. on December 18th.
