Basketball Recap: Weston's Loss Ends Eight-Game Winning Streak at Home

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Weston can now relate to. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 63-62 to the Bethel Wildcats. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (55), the Trojans still had to take the loss.

Weston's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-7. As for Bethel, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Weston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bethel, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Bethel Wildcats challenge Foran Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. They have given up an average of 57.2 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
