Scituate had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They took down the Hanover Hawks 21-7. That's more bragging rights for the Sailors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Scituate's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Hanover, they moved to 5-3 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coming up, Scituate will challenge Smithfield at 6:00 p.m. on the 7th. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Sailors 15, the Sentinels 10.7) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Hanover, they will welcome Weston at 6:00 p.m. on the 7th. The Wildcats' defense has only allowed 12.9 points per game this season, so the Hawks' offense will have their work cut out for them.
