Basketball Recap: Marshall Christian Academy Stallions vs. Master's Hand Christian Warriors

Marshall Christian Academy kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost to the Master's Hand Christian Warriors on the road by a 63-45 margin. The Stallions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Master's Hand Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Daniel Nason, who posted nine points in addition to six steals and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Braedon Canuteson, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds.

Master's Hand Christian now has a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marshall Christian Academy will head out to challenge Hope Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hope Christian Academy will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Marshall Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Master's Hand Christian, they are taking a road trip to take on Trinity Christian Homeschool at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
