Softball Recap: Douglas Falls Short of Sardis in the Playoffs

Douglas and Sardis squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Douglas had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Eagles have suffered since April 16, 2024.

Douglas' defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-8. As for Sardis, their win bumped their record up to 27-14.

As of now, neither Douglas nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
