Basketball Recap: Mohave Comes Up Short at Home Against Moon Valley + How To Watch

Mohave unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 68-49 bruising from the Moon Valley Rockets on Saturday. While the Thunderbirds didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Rockets 22-15 in the first quarter.

Several Thunderbirds players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Andy Osoria-Navarro, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Julian Jackson, who earned eight points.

Moon Valley's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mohave will welcome Arcadia at 7:00 p.m. on December 1. As for Moon Valley, after both having extra time off, they and Washington will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on December 3.
