Basketball Recap: McDaniel Comes Up Short

McDaniel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 39-34 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cleveland Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mountain Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-31 back in January.

McDaniel's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Cleveland, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-10.

While McDaniel had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
