Softball Recap: Castlewood Comes Up Short

Castlewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Ridgeview Wolfpack, falling 13-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolfpack this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 last Tuesday.

Anna Summers was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

Castlewood's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Ridgeview, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Castlewood wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-0 defeat against Clinton on the 29th. As for Ridgeview, they have also already played their next game, a 5-1 loss against John Battle on the 28th.
