Dodson falls despite strong effort from Junior Stiffarm

Recap: Dodson Coyotes vs. Saco/Whitewater/Hinsdale
The Dodson Coyotes's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell to Saco/Whitewater/Hinsdale 46-42. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Dodson of the 58-51 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
Despite the loss, Dodson still got an impressive performance from Junior Stiffarm, who scored 20 points. That was a full 47.6% of Dodson's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Dodson has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Saco/Whitewater/Hinsdale, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.
Dodson will be playing in front of their home fans against Non Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Saco/Whitewater/Hinsdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
