Baseball Recap: Gulf Coast HEAT Comes Up Short

Gulf Coast HEAT lost against Foundation Christian Academy last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Gulf Coast HEAT lost 21-6 to the Foundation Christian Academy Panthers. Gulf Coast HEAT just can't catch a break and has now endured four defeats in a row.

Gulf Coast HEAT saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kevin McNulty, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2. McNulty has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Noah Hefner also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.

Gulf Coast HEAT's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Foundation Christian Academy, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gulf Coast HEAT will square off against Sarasota Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Foundation Christian Academy, they will challenge Grace Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Foundation Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.7 runs per game this season.
