Baseball Recap: King Comes Up Short

King was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 17-0 to the Tuloso-Midway Warriors & Cherokees. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Brahmas of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

King's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Tuloso-Midway, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King will host Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tuloso-Midway, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Warriors & Cherokees are on a ten-game streak of home wins, the Eagles a seven-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
