Billings West extended their winning streak to eight on Thursday, bumping them up to 8-1. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Belgrade Panthers 55-21. The Golden Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by 28 points or more this season.

CJ Johnson threw for 200 yards and three touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes. Matt Ludwig was his top target, picking up 94 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Gabe Rosales rushed for 68 yards and one TD on only seven carries.

As for Belgrade, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7. While losing is never fun, they can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana football rankings (they are ranked 64th, while Billings West is ranked 15th).

Loss or not, Belgrade got some senior leadership from Wesley Ehret and Hudsen Rask. Ehret picked up 116 receiving yards and one TD, while Rask picked up 94 receiving yards and one score. Those 116 receiving yards set a new season-high mark for Ehret.

As of now, neither Billings West nor Belgrade have any future games scheduled.
