Basketball Recap: Hardin Comes Up Short

Hardin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were dealt a 79-41 defeat at the hands of the East Helena Vigilantes. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 76-69 back in December of 2024.

Hardin's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for East Helena, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.

Hardin has already played their next contest, a 69-52 defeat against Fergus on the 30th. As for East Helena, they will venture away from home to take on Jefferson at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. East Helena knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Jefferson likes a good challenge.
