Basketball Recap: Lee's Summit Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Lee's Summit entered their match against Washington on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The game between the Lee's Summit Tigers and the Washington Wildcats didn't end well, with the Lee's Summit Tigers falling 65-50.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Washington to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elliott Berry Jr., who posted 12 points along with five assists and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Boggess, who went 6 of 11 en route to 12 points and five assists.

Lee's Summit's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-5. As for Washington, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

While Lee's Summit had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Friday.
