League recap: Salas throws longest pass in league this season for Rio Mesa

Adan Salas and Sylas Mottley provided fans with a highlight when they connected against La Quinta. The longest such play in Pacific View this season, the connection resulted in 75 yards.

Channel Islands's AJ Oto recorded the longest rushing play in the league this season in his game against San Marcos last week. Oto's team fell to the Royals as he sprinted for 64 yards on the play and finished with 218 in all.

Cameron Wrout threw for 172 yards and 25 touchdowns. He was 18-31 with 1 interception.

Oto was a beast in the backfield as Channel Islands lost to San Marcos.

Vines Deondre was the best wideout in the league this week as Pacifica lost to Buena. Deondre racked up 6 receptions for 141 yards. Daniel Moraga helped Pacifica's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 24 yards.

Hueneme's Salas and Mottley have formed a dream team this season, leading Pacific View in both passing and receiving yards. Salas has thrown for 1,112 yards this season, while Mottley has 25 catches for 467 yards. The Tritons' Kevin Davis leads the league in rushing yards with 556.

The Vikings scaled the state rankings by moving to 859 from 897 this week, the biggest jump in the league. Hueneme climbed the ranks as a result of defeating the Aztecs 59-28.
