            Volleyball Recap: Palmyra-Eagle Panthers vs. Markesan Hornets        
        
		
        
        
            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Racine Lutheran, Palmyra-Eagle was happy to have turned things around  on Saturday. They walked away with  a   2-0  win over the Markesan Hornets. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their five-match losing streak.

 Among those leading the charge was   Briahna Covarrubias, who  had ten  digs and three  aces. That's the most  aces  she has posted since back in September.
Palmyra-Eagle's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Markesan,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 9-23.
 Coincidentally, Palmyra-Eagle and Markesan will both be playing Oakfield the next time they take the court. The Hornets will head out to face the Oaks at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 12:30  p.m.
