Baseball Recap: Bishop Mcdevitt Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Bishop McDevitt was not the first on the board on Tuesday, but they got there more often. They walked away with a 10-6 victory over the Gettysburg Warriors. For the Crusaders, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Easton Comp, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that he has snagged this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Calvin Snyder, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Bishop McDevitt wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-0 loss against Hershey on the 14th. As for Gettysburg, they have also already played their next match, a 4-3 defeat against Palmyra on the 10th.
