Basketball Game Preview: High Point Christian Academy Cougars vs. Greensboro Day School Bengals

The High Point Christian Academy Cougars will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Greensboro Day School Bengals at 5:30 p.m. High Point Christian Academy is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when High Point Christian Academy faced off against Asheville Christian Academy on Thursday. High Point Christian Academy fell 42-29 to Asheville Christian Academy.

Meanwhile, Greensboro Day School strolled past Forsyth Country Day with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 63-45. Given the Bengals' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 40th, while the Furies are ranked 232nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Greensboro Day School's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for High Point Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

High Point Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Greensboro Day School in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 46-41 win.
