There's no place like home for Bishop Watterson, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They took down the Hilliard Bradley Jaguars 42-26 on Wednesday. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 97th, while the Jaguars are ranked 213th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, Hilliard Bradley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Sophia Lopez posted eight points.

Bishop Watterson's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-9. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points over those games. As for Hilliard Bradley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.

Bishop Watterson has already played their next game, a 56-23 win against Westerville North on the 15th. As for Hilliard Bradley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 61-32 victory against Olentangy Orange on the 14th.
