Recap: Bartram Trail Bears vs. Nease Panthers

The Bartram Trail Bears's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 44-34 to Nease. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bartram Trail has scored all season.

Bartram Trail lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jaxon Williamson, who scored nine points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Samuel Shields, who scored 12 points along with two steals.

Jack Sullivan was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 15 rebounds for Nease. Bryson Utter was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.

Bartram Trail has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Nease, their victory bumped their record up to 12-10.

Bartram Trail and Orange Park will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Orange Park has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 195 points over their last three games. Nease's road trip will continue as they head out to face Impact Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th. Impact Christian Academy will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
