Soccer Recap: Chicago University Takes a Loss

The matchup between Chicago University and Saint Ignatius College Prep on Saturday hardly resembled the 1-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Maroons lost 8-0 to the Wolfpack. The shutout was out of character for Chicago University seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.

Chicago University's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-1. As for Saint Ignatius College Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6-1.

Chicago University wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 5-1 win against Regina Dominican on the 5th. As for Saint Ignatius College Prep, they will face off against Whitney Young at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
